26th Aix-La-Chapelle Lolita Meet-Up

Hello my sweet mauw-mauws,

summertime is picnic time! Or something like that...
Last saturday the 26th Aix-La-Chapelle Lolita Meet-Up took place. Due it is already July and actually mid of summer I thought it would be great to have a picnic - well, my hometown taught me better once again.

At least we could enjoy the picnic for around 1 1/2 hours.

While the rest of the group were still enjoying the picnic I started looking for a good place to have a group photo later on. Sadly my tripod got unusable and so I need a platform or something similar which narrows the choice.  This photo below occured by checking out:

Still sunny, right? But this changed within 10 minutes to this:

Pretty sudden, the dark clouds turned into rainy clouds and we flee and abide the stormy rain for now.

Here and there the rain became a little less and we took the chance to have a photo of us as "Lolita Print Triplets":

Toy Drops ftw!
Angelic Pretty's "Toy Drops"-series is still one of my absolute favorite Lolita Fashion series/prints. I love this series so much that I even had to buy the Salopette during my stay in Paris two years ago (Angelic Pretty Pop-Up Store Paris), too. I was so happy as Kuraude-chan (<3) told me that she will buy the JSK in red colourway a few weeks ago. And then, quite sudden-like, Schneeregen also bought the JSK, but in black! ^__^

During the next break in the rain we made our way to Papatai to have some sushi. By now, Papatai is the only Sushi Restaurant in Aachen (besides Oishii) which offers you to have a seat at traditional japanese short-legged (dining) tables (so called "chabudai"). This makes me always feel a bit like having holiday in Japan. <3
Weather was quite modest but I hope that everybody had nevertheless a great time at the Meet-Up. I enjoyed the Meet-Up pretty much even though I was ill all week before and it was therefore still pretty exhausting (I would do it anytime again). ^0^6
