Innocent World - Tsuchida Yutaka Rabbit and Squirrel JSK Pink - Review

Hello my lovely mauw-mauws,

Innocent World's "Tsuchida Yutaka Rabbit and Squirrel JSK Pink" (or in japanese: Tsuchida Yutaka Usagi To Risu) topped my "Want-to-buy-in-Japan"-list. Therefore, we went to the Innocent World store located in Harajuku and I was delighted as I discovered this beautiful JSK there. I didn't waste any more thoughts about the price (~24,900 Yen) and bought it right there - this JSK is one of my abosulte dream prints and believe me, I was probably the luckiest girl on earth for the rest of the day o(^O^)o

Innocent World adapted this print from a water-colour painting of  japanese artist Yutaka Tsuchida.

Let's have a closer look :

the squirrel brooch is detachable *__*

the border print is just beautiful and you cant figure out were the print starts nor ends - it's a fluent passage.

It bears mentioning that, eventhough the print has been adapted from a painting you can't really figure our where the borderprint starts nor ends - it's a fluent passage which makes the whole JSK look very harmonical. The upper part of the JSK has been kept more simple, I think otherwise it would have been looked to fussy. This JSK represents for me anything Innocent World stands for: "Cute Classiness".

The measurements of this JSK are:
length: ~ 92cm
bust: ~80-95cm
waist: ~63-80cm

Innocent World sold this JSK in pink, white and blue colourway. They also released this series as dress and skirt as well as a blouse, pouches and tights. I really wanted to have those tights and a pouch also but they weren't in stock anymore. p__q I am still loooking for more clothes and accessories from this series so if you want to sell something, keep me in mind ;-) You can get an overview about the whole series f. e. here: Tsuchida Yutaka series - hello lace

By now, it's still my only JSK of Innocent World but Im really satisfied with the quality of the JSK. Its well sewn and the details (f. e. squirrel brooch) are lovely. I am for sure will buy again from Innocent World, especially after I got to know Fujiwara-san, she really loves and lives her label and therefore she is a real inspiration.. <3

Connichi 2014

Hello my cute mauw-mauws,

from 12-14th September I went to Kassel. For already the sixth time I visited the "Connichi", the biggest german Anime/J-Popculture Convention. Along with Don, Kuraude, PrincessTenko and Mochi we stayed from friday to sunday at our regular holiday apartment. For PrincessTenko it was the first time attending the Connichi and Im happy that she joined us ^__^

Day 1 - Friday:

Lolita Day! Like every year, Friday is Lolita Day. For this years Connichi I choosed to wear one of my absolute dream Lolita JSK: Angelic Pretty's "Fancy Box". I bought this JSK from Yoko Rosedust already in July but I wanted to "premiere" it at Connichi. Actually, I almost only own pink-coloured dresses so I felt at first I bit unsure if I could also wear a mainly white coloured JSK/dress, but I really liked it:

me, Kuraude and PrincessTenko

Those photos were made by Falk, a nice guy and great photographer we ran into just as we reached the location of the Connichi. We also already met him last year at Connichi 2013 where he had made great photos of Kuraude and me in Lolita Fashion, too.

After this photo-session we went inside and strolled around. PrincessTenko, Kuraude and me also went to MangaBox to get a few photos taken.

Nintendo was also present again and I almost bursted of joy because I could play Super Smash Bros U, Hyrule Warriors and more games which will be only released during the next weeks and months. Meanwhile, Don went back to the traders area and surprised me with this plushies:

Panda Hello Kitty

Awww~ I was so happy!! <3 I love plushies <3 I'm really such a lucky-lucky girl. Don always know which plushies the cutest and how he can make me smile! <3
I for myself only bought a Manga and a pair of hair clips:

Im not stingy but somehow there were not such great articles this year I think..

Before we went in the evening to a speech with the topic "japanese humour" we ran accidentally into Takamasa Sakurai. Sakurai workes as an author and freelancer journalist and has been a general adviser for japanese pop-culture and creative director of the "Kawaii Ambassadors" (f. e. Misako Aoki). We had a real nice chat and he even kept his promise to show a photo of us to Misako via twitter later on:

We stayed at Connichi pretty long that day and went to our apartment only late in the evening...

Day 2 - Saturday:

On saturdays, Kuraude, Don, Mochi and me weared our Dragon Ball Cosplays. Unfortunately it was so cold that we had to spent most of the day inside but this didn't reduced the fun! Kuraude and I decided to have a lil photo shooting inside the Connichi building:

Lunch -evil-

Kuraude - mega cute <3

Short while after, we finally met up with Yoko Rosedust! Actually we wanted to meet up with her on fridays but it didn't worked ^__^6:

me, Yoko Rosedust (looking very beautiful in this Lolita co-ord!), PrincessTenko (pink kawaii decora girl *__*) and Kuraude

At lunchtime we celebrated together with some more friends Tony's (Yoko Rosedust's husband) birthday and presented him a Chopper (One Piece) coin bank. In return we received a lot of cake, drinks and great time.

Incognito: Don as Muten Roshi.

Again, I had to visit Nintendo and needed to play a round or two Hyrule Warriors, which was not yet released back then:

I'm addicted - I know.
That day we met quite a few more friends and had a great time but nevertheless we left the location already at 6pm because we were pretty hungry. ^__^6

Day 3 - Sunday:

What?! Where is time gone? It's already sunday - the last day has begun! Today I was wearing my new Chii Cosplay:

Chii School Uniform Outfit

I bought this uniform via - they simply sell this perfect school uniform which exactly looks like the one she is wearing in the Manga!!
Mochi weared his new Joker Cosplay - and he looked so great(!!):

Well done, well done!!
On sundays the weather was pretty good - I wish it has been like that on fridays and saturdays, too. We took a few photos outside, strolled through the garden and then went to Takamasa Sakurai's speech about pop culture. It was pretty interesting and he recognized us instantly and seemed to be very glad to see us. At the end it was possible to ask questions and I tried to suggest him to think about a J-Fashion/Pop-culture event in germany because Im pretty sure that there is a great demand about such an event here.

Before we left Connichi we needed to take a group photo:

PrincessTenko, Kuraude (as Fluttershy), Mochi, Don and me

It was once again a super great time and I enjoyed it much. Nowadays, time gets more and more precious for me. The (free)time I got, I want to spend as much as possible with my friends, sounds ordinary but this need has become really important to me, I want to enjoy life with those I love.

Lolita Meet-Up - Schloss Benrath (Düsseldorf) & walking on the motorway in Lolita clothes!

Hello my dear mauw-mauws,

we're just back home from Connichi and I make use of my last day off from work. Before I write about this years Connichi (it was once again a great-great time!), I need to tell you about the Lolita Meet-Up "Castles & Princesses" two weeks ago in Düsseldorf.

Actually, we (PrincessTenko, Fraeulein_Elisabeth, Don and me) were not really a part of the official meet-up because we didn't made it in time to the Meet-Up. But that was not so bad anyways because there were overall so many Lolita's at Schloss Benrath that the actual Lolita group had been splitted into several smaller groups.

Schloss Benrath is a baroque styled palais and has been build during the 18th century. The palais and its gardens are a great photo location for Lolita Fashion. ^___^ Sadly, the weather wasn't very summery - it was clouded and brisky all day long and so some of the photos we'd taken were a bit dark and/or pale, but let's have a look:

perfect second - the sun is shining

our personal photographer for today - Don <3

Following the photo session, we took a seat at the palais cafe and chatted a lot. As we left the cafe towards evening again, we ran into two young japanese women who were really excited about our outfits ~ "kawaii!" "かわいい!" "aaaah, kawaiiiiii" ~ as I thanked them in japanese they were even more excited, they fall all-over theirselves and asked us to took a photo with them (by the way, their english skills were noticeable good!!).

Around 6pm we then made our way home, but for Don and me the journey home took a bit longer than usual. Just before we leaved the Autobahn / motorway (only ~500m to go!!) we ran out of fuel.. what a mess! We misestimated!  I called the ADAC (german automobile club) and then Don and I made our way behind the crash barriers of the highway (it was not that easy to get behind them in Lolita clothes!) >__>  OMG I was so confused and excited first but then we both made fun of the situation..

sad Don

What about a Lolita JSK with a highway print?! X'D

Luckily, we only had to wait like 10-15 minutes til the "Gelbe Engel" (yellow angel) of the ADAC reached us and filled Nyaygo's tank again. Thereafter this short delay we arrived safely and good-tempered at home X'D - I always wanted to walk on an Autobahn / a motorway while wearing Lolita... haha~

is gone. Two days ago we had to let her go and put her out of her misery. I knew that this day would come, the last few weeks I expected this to be happen like every day but nevertheless it hurts really so much.

Already during the first days of June my vet and I made the decision that Carli shouldn't go into another surgery due to her advanced age, her condition and the fact that she got four lumps at the same time. Thenceforward, I tried to make Carli's autumn of life as comfortable as possible. Until recently, Carli felt alright eventhough she steadily losed weight and her lumps keep growing. But pets/animals are so gorgeous, unlike us humans they don't seek for pity, they simply make the best of the situation. The last two weeks I even bought baby food (puree) for Carli to hold her on track. She had trouble eating and so I could only fed her with puree and paste during the last few days but it was "ok" - Carli was still attentive (but lean) and had a great appetite.

Then overnight Carli didn't wanted to eat anythign at all. Her crazy loved multivitamin paste - she pushed it away. She seemed to be in pain. Now I knew that I needed to let her go. I called my vet and they blocked an appointment for me that short-dated. As we arrived at the vet we could go straight into the treatments room and everything went fast. I felt relieved for Carli, within 2 minutes she passed away already, I could hold her in my arms. I gave my best to restrain myself, pets are sensitive and they sense their holder's feeling in some way, but I couldn't hide my tears..

As we left the vet, I cried even more. Although I needed to make this last voyage more than once now in my life (even as I was still a child), it is always terrible. Im glad that Don stayed with me at the vet and that my mum joined and helped us laying Carli to her final rest. She now lays next to her old mate Vanilla.

Carli, you were a real fighter. I miss you. You were a funny cutie pie and I loved your odd sleeping positions. Thank you for the great time! <3
