Satsuki - Live at MTC Cologne ~ Squall of Emotions Tour

Hello my cute mauw-mauws,

I really like to tell you about my quite spontaneous visit of Satsuki's concert in Cologne on December, 5th. My sis Skullina arranged short dated two VIP-Tickets for the gig.

Satsuki, Skullina, Sana and me - after the concert you had the chance to take an fuji-instant-photo with Satsuki and Co. at a premium.

Actually I was not much into Satsuki's music but my sister is a fan for years. At first I should be only her personal taxi but then my sister arranged a second VIP-ticket and I joined the condert. Admission for VIPs was planned for 7:00pm but we could enter the venue with a delay of ~30 minutes. Gosh, it was so cold outside and we could hear Satsuki and his band doing soundchecks already. Inside then, everything needs to go quick: Say "Hi!" to Satsuki & Co., give a gift, take a photo and only a few minutes later the concert already begun. We had barely time and could not enjoy our "VIP"-bonus. Too bad!!!

my sis with Satsuki

Skullina is gifted in artistic and she painted this picture of Satsuki especially for the concert and gave it to him as a present:

I dunno what's going on with my arm XD

The MTC is a pretty small venue and so the concert was very intensive. I enjoyed the concert although I knew vaguely only half of the songs.  I was so happy that they performed my favourite song "Romance". *____*
Satsuki, Sana-Sama & Co. all radiated sympathy. Especially Satsuki was very patienced and didn't feared contacts. He even warmed up my sister hand during the lil sign-session after the concert.

For Skullina the concert was even more intense and it made me more than happy to see her that rejoice about the concert. <3

Looking forward to see them again and I recognized that I need to spend more time with Skullina.

excited sisters right before the concert

Thank you for the great evening!

Usai in Japan 2013 - Suzuka: Japanese Adult Hotel & Suzuka Circuit

Hello my dear mauw-mauws,

Suzuka is probably best known for the Suzuka International Racing Course / Circuit which is the home of the Japanese Formula 1 Grand Prix.

By entering Suzuka we noticed a lot of gas stations and car dealer. Suzuka definitively lives of the car industry. We stayed for one night in the Hotel "Fine Garden". Back then, as we booked our hotels we noticed that "Fine Garden" is an adult only hotel but because we didn't had any other choice for Suzuka we decided to stay there and probably experienced the biggest surprise during our stay in Japan.

It seemed like we were the only guests right now and so the hotel staff gave us a free of charge update and so we got the Super Deluxe Rooms. Well, actually it wasn't a room anymore.. we stayed in a flat. A photo can tell more than thousand words and a video can show you more than thousand photos, so please enjoy:

Don is talking on this video and is introducing the rooms and the special inventory. I think you get a good impression of the flat eventhough you can't understand german. This was actually a LOVE hotel and you may think "ewwww~ yuck! BUT this room was certainly cleanier than an usual hotel room. Everything was purer luxury. We could even order food to our rooms and so it came that I ate the most delicious pizza ever. *___* The staff were really friendly.

In the evening, Don and Mochi discovered a "Don Quijote"-store in which I bought later on a cute Hello Kitty Hoodie and Care Bear Pants! ^__^

Next day, we went to Suzuka Circuit. Round the Circuit is a theme park (Motopia) which offers quite a lot for children but also for motorsport fans.

japanese people are great - this gate spends cold water! It's really refreshing on sticky summer days!

on the terrace of the Suzuka Circuit

The highlight as such was to drive at the famous circuit by yourself with a go-kart. It was so much fun although I didn't drive by myself. It was lovely, seeing how much fun Don and Mochi had. ^__^

Mochi and Kuraude were right behind us and Kuraude shooted our round

Thereafter we took a ride with the giant wheel and OH MY GOSH! this giant wheel got as only thing we entered during our whole stay in japan NO air conditioner. It was hotter than a sauna. We were all relieved as we could finally leave the giant wheel again and go outside because there it were "only" 38 degrees. Anyways, it was once again a really sticky day back then eventhough it looks so cloudy and dull on the photos....

Innocent World - Tsuchida Yutaka Rabbit and Squirrel JSK Pink - Review

Hello my lovely mauw-mauws,

Innocent World's "Tsuchida Yutaka Rabbit and Squirrel JSK Pink" (or in japanese: Tsuchida Yutaka Usagi To Risu) topped my "Want-to-buy-in-Japan"-list. Therefore, we went to the Innocent World store located in Harajuku and I was delighted as I discovered this beautiful JSK there. I didn't waste any more thoughts about the price (~24,900 Yen) and bought it right there - this JSK is one of my abosulte dream prints and believe me, I was probably the luckiest girl on earth for the rest of the day o(^O^)o

Innocent World adapted this print from a water-colour painting of  japanese artist Yutaka Tsuchida.

Let's have a closer look :

the squirrel brooch is detachable *__*

the border print is just beautiful and you cant figure out were the print starts nor ends - it's a fluent passage.

It bears mentioning that, eventhough the print has been adapted from a painting you can't really figure our where the borderprint starts nor ends - it's a fluent passage which makes the whole JSK look very harmonical. The upper part of the JSK has been kept more simple, I think otherwise it would have been looked to fussy. This JSK represents for me anything Innocent World stands for: "Cute Classiness".

The measurements of this JSK are:
length: ~ 92cm
bust: ~80-95cm
waist: ~63-80cm

Innocent World sold this JSK in pink, white and blue colourway. They also released this series as dress and skirt as well as a blouse, pouches and tights. I really wanted to have those tights and a pouch also but they weren't in stock anymore. p__q I am still loooking for more clothes and accessories from this series so if you want to sell something, keep me in mind ;-) You can get an overview about the whole series f. e. here: Tsuchida Yutaka series - hello lace

By now, it's still my only JSK of Innocent World but Im really satisfied with the quality of the JSK. Its well sewn and the details (f. e. squirrel brooch) are lovely. I am for sure will buy again from Innocent World, especially after I got to know Fujiwara-san, she really loves and lives her label and therefore she is a real inspiration.. <3

Usai in Japan 2013 - Akihabara

Hello my cute mauw-mauws,

during our last days in Japan we finally visited Akihabara, the famous Manga/Electonic neighbourhood of Tokyo. Especially Mochi couldn't wait to enter the flashy world of Akihabara. To my surprise, Akihabara looked pretty much alike I had imagined it in beforehand: many people, maids on the street and manga characters are greeting you on each corner - stunning.

Maids try to promote their maid cafe

Tales of Symphonia - promoting for the upcoming "special edition" of part 1 and part 2

Because ist was once again sticky hot we seeked refuge in one of the numerous Sega game halls. I think we spent more time than we actually planned inside the halls.

Mario Kart Arcade caught Mochi's and my attention

Thereafter, Mochi and Don enjoyed a round or two of Zombie shooting

We also enjoyed playing Tekken, a drum game and I'd even made some puris. It was one of this "bigger eyes" machines and well.. I really do look like a creepy manga character.. maybe I will show you the puris sometime..
Thereafter we strolled through the streets of Akihabara and we even entered a sort of sex/hentai shop by accident. Actually we entered the shop because the maid dresses in front of the store looked so cute and as we were inside the store we discovered the really creative world of LOVE of the japanese. To be honest, Don, Mochi and I were pretty impressed but sometimes also kinda confused of the wide range of items there. Hahaa~ ^__^6 Well, after this accident, we entered one big Manga-Merchandise store after another and especially Mochi spent a lot of money and had a lot to heft:

This are Mochi's purchases only after leaving on of the first merchandise stores on that day.. there were still a lot more to come.. XD

If you love Manga and japanese Popculture you need to make a break in Akihabara - if there is anyway a manga world than it is in Akihabara. Next time I really want to visit a Maid Cafe.. no matter what the boys think about it then.. >__> X'D

My Cosplays - 10th - Lillymon from Digimon

Hello my lovely mauw-mauws,

this days Im pretty busy but nevertheless I want to keep blogging regularly somehow. Because it's been a while since my last "My Cosplays"-post, here we go with No. 10: Lillymon.

Lillymon Cosplay – Profile:
Cosplay No.:10
Created in: 2013
Costs: about 35€
Hours to make: 8h
Weared at: Connichi 2013 (Saturday), DoKomi 2014 (Saturday)

Why do I wanted to cosplay Lillymon?
I'm still a huge fan of the first and second series of Digimon and Lillymon is my absolute favourite Digimon since then. A shame, that she hadn't more appearances and anyhow I think she deserves much more attention and love and so I needed to Cosplay Lillymon.

Any unforgettable experiences ?
None special that far. Except the fact that wearing a wig and a hat when the outside temperature is 30 degrees over zero is not that recommendable (Dokomi 2014). ^__^6

Lolita Shopping Paris - Baby, the stars shine bright Store & Angelic Pretty Pop-Up Shop

Hello my lovely mauw-mauws,

during our two days stay in Paris, Yoko Rosedust and I wanted to see and do as much as possible and so we left towards afternoon already the Japan Expo in order to visit the Baby, the stars shine bright store and the currently opened Pop-Up Shop of Angelic Pretty in Paris.

First, we headed to "Baby, the stars shine bright". I was so excited and happy as we finally reached the store. The staff seem to be very friendly and even though I wanted to buy something I didn't found anything fitting for me this time.

72 avenue Ledru Rollin
75012 Paris

My final hope for buying some new Lolita clothes/accessories lied now on the Pop-Up shop of Angelic Pretty / Putumayo which had been temporary opened during the first week of July in Paris.

And what should I say. Good fortune was with me and I made a great bargain. I bought Angelic Pretty's only just new released "Toy Drops" Salopette! I never would have guessed to find this Salopette in Paris! I was like in a "&/$§%$/ happiness-overload-dont-know-what-to-say-anymore"-mode. As AP announced this series, I thought about buying it directly from their website (with all those fees etc.) because Im so in love with this print. Now, standing in AP's Pop-Up Shop I had the opportunity to buy the Salopette in pink for .. only.. 101,00€. Thats what I thought at first glance. Then Yoko corrected me:  75,60€ !!! Sense of pleasure were thrilling my whole body X'D and the salopette was mine!

in advance - a photo from a lil shooting we had in Borken last weekend

I always wanted to own a Salopette and now I got one with one of my absolute favorite series/print ^_^ Salopettes are perfect for hot summer days! I will wear this salopette for sure quite often.. maybe even to my workplace X'D

Review/Relisten: Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's "Pika Pika Fantajin" & Tour Documentary

Hello my cute mauw-mauws,

once it was announced, I pre-ordered Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's new album "Pika Pika Fantajin". For me it was the very first time ordering from CD Japan and everything went fine. They sent out the CD on 7/7/2014 and the package arrived already at 7/12/2014. In the meantime, KPP's managment announced that the album will be also released in 12 other countries regularly, for example also in germany. ._. Well.. because I already paid for the CD and I actually wanted to have the japanese version in preference to a european version I didn't cancelled the order anymore. Moreover, I can enjoy her new album two weeks before it will be released on the european market  ~harhar X'D. The album will be released on July, 21.

"Pika Pika Fantajin" includes 12 tracks and that's what I think about them currently:

1. Pika Pika Fantajin
The first track "Pika Pika Fantajin" sounds to me like a trip to a sort of fantasy land and is a short opener and her invitation to her new album.

Kyary as call girl.. ö_Ö

2. Kira Kira Killer
"Kira Kira Killer" is the "crowd puller" on this album and contains everything which makes Kyary for me Kyary. It's my absolute fave song of her currently. Best song on this album!

I love this photo of her so much. It's also the cover of the A-Version of her album

3. Yume No Hajimarinrin
"Yume no Hajimarinrin" is the probably most meaningful song on Kyary's current album. Eventhough the album version of this track isn't as good as the single version it's still a very good song which proves that Kyary can also do some more serious songs.

Kyary cuts a fine figure

4. Mottainai Rando
"Mottainai Rando" is besides "Kira Kira Killer" the best song on the album. The song and especially the PV represents the complete "kawaii'n'crazyness" of KPP. It's one of the more powerful and faster songs on her album and I would love to hear more songs of that kind in the future.

somehow scary but genius - a photo in this kind of art is her cover for the B-version of the album

5. Serious Hitomi
"Serious Hitomi" is an unusual song for KPP with its guitar riffs, it's spunky and so this song deserves love. At least KPP's pronounciation of "serious" (it sound more like "shelius") should make you feel a bit love for the song.

6. Do Do Pi Do
Before listening to "Do Do Pi Do" I was hoping for a sort of new "Mi" because of the.. well.. "meaningful" title. Everytime I listen to the song I have to think about beaches and sun and holidays which sounds pretty good at first sight but altogether I would say that "Do Do Pi Do" is for me the weakest song on her album (And yes, I know that it is just a cover (the original is from Capsule)).

7. Family Party
The album version is as good as the single version. I would say that the album version sounds a bit less agressive than the single version. "Family Party" is a very catchy song, I catch myself singing along at least the chorus evertime. ^__^6

8. Ring A Bell
"Ring A Bell" is a perfect karaoke song and Kyary and her management knew about this and made a tie with karaoke company DAM. Eventhough "Ring A Bell" will not be released as a single there is a PV/Dance tutorial video for this song. Its not one of her best songs but its quite fun listening to.

Kyary with really short hair

9. Tokyo Highway
"Tokyo Highway" is the next track on her album and I recognized the greatness of this song as I listened to it for the third or fourth time only. The chorus is poppy and it is exactly that kind of song I actually expected to hear on "Pika Pika Fantajin".

what a great outfit she is wearing *__*

10. Koi Koi Koi
Enchanting. This song got something really magical. When a song sounds like a fairytale on this album then it's "Koi Koi Koi". A really cute and catchy song and somehow this song makes me feel really soothed and feeling like Im listening to someone reading an old fairytale from an old book. ^__^

11. Sungoi Aura
This song works with several unusual instruments and sounds but works perfectly together with Family Party and Yume No Hajimarinrin. I don't know why exactly but I got the impression that this three songs are one of a kind.

12. Explorer
I expected a slower song as album ender, but Im fine with this song. Not only the title of this track but the whole atmosphere makes me feel like I would starting an adventure (somehow I also need to think about having my first battles with a starter Pokemon). This song puts me in a positive thinking mood.

My Favies:
Kira Kira Killer -> best song of her 3rd album (just over Mottainai Rando)!
Yume No Hajimarinrin
Mottainai Rando
Family Party
Tokyo Highway
Koi Koi Koi -> best "album"-only song!
Sungoi Aura

In contrast to its forerunner "Nanda Collection" which got a sort of thoughtful coming of age as main topic, "Pika Pika Fantajin" does not aim a particular topic. However, the tracks on "Pika Pika Fantajin" are more consistent but on the other hand the album does not contain such outstanding songs like "Nanda Collection" got them. Nevertheless it's a good album with a great overall idea and it's worth buying it. ^O^

These days the official europe tour documentary has been made available also.  My friends and me also make an experience in this video due we stand first row in Cologne *___* :

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu NandaCollection World Tour Documentary

I am really looking forward to her next europe tour - I'll be there! ^__^

Japan Expo 2014 in Paris

Hello my cute mauw-mauws,

for quite a long time I wanted to travel to Paris and last weekend I finally did it. Actually Yoko Rosedust and me only wanted to visit Paris because we had tickets for the Following Alice Tea Party on sundays but during our scheduling we noticed that the Japan Expo was also held at exactly that weekend and so decided we to stay for the whole weekend then. Via Thalys we arrived at Paris on Friday evening and went then our way to the Japan Expo on saturday morning.

From train station Gare du Nord we took a train directly to the exhibiton center. It took a while til we could enter the Japan Expo finally but it was all well organized and there were no crush at all. First, I didn't know where I should go and look first. Im familiar with Japan/Anime/Popculture-Conventions in Germany but the Japan Expo is another league. It's really more an exhibition than a convention and the range of retailers was stunning. Just after a few minutes we kinda directly run into Domo-Kun, the mascot of broadcaster NHK.

isn't he lovely? - Yoko and me prefered to wear a Casual Lolita Outfit for Japan Expo

I were stunned that NHK (World) was present at Japan Expo. I love watching NHK World, it may sound nerdy but they truly my favourite TV station. Shortly before we ran into Domo-kun we passed the Manga & Anime Area and spotted a lot of interesting merchandise:

Sailor Moon figures *__* they were very well done made

Hello Kitty celebrated her 40th anniversary this year

and due to that they released an exclusive Robot Hello Kitty series

Next we headed to the Popculture area (or the so called "Kawaii!! Area"):

The area was produced by "Moshi Moshi Nippon" and offered live music and several shows and acts and artists. Before we made our way to the main stage we were greeted by really friendly staff of "Okinawa Kawaii" and "Osaka Kawaii"-booths. While having chats with them we were able to take pictures of us of inside the booths:

with "Okinawa Kawaii"-mascot Shi-Mocopi

with the friendly staff of Osaka Kawaii!!

Thereafter we strolled towards the main stage and met Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Sadly, she wasn't actually present but at least her original (!) "PonPonPon"-costume and a life-sized standee was:

I'd love to pick up the costume *__*

KPP advertising for "Moshi Moshi Nippon"

Once I could quit my "KPP-Fan-Mode" we finally reached the main stage. At this time nothing special was going on and we decided to visit the Fashion-retailer-booths. I never saw such a wide range of retailers before. I was really stunned and overchallenged first, haha~ XD. Well, in the end I found some cute things not just for myself. ^__~

Meanwhile we got hungry and after we satisfy hunger we discovered the "Game area". Nintendo, Square Enix and more were presenting their current and upcoming top sellers.

Upcoming Smash - can't wait to buy it! *__*

Yoshis Woolly World shows Nintendo's passion - their love in each detail.

I am listening to K.K.'s songs.. <3

The area was so huge, too, I could have spent a whole day there without getting bored but because there was still so much else to see we made our way back towards the "Kawaii Area". Yoko Rosedust absolutely wanted to see Funassyi's live performance. Before Funassyi entered the stage we were introduced into the concept of "Moshi Moshi Nippon". "Moshi Moshi Nippon" is a project which should help to spread japanese popculture to the world via live acts, shows, information booth and so on.
Thereafter, Neeko introduced Funassyi onto stage.

Funassyi then started to rock the show and I must admit - Im now a Funassyi-fan. o(^///^)o What a crazy thing! If you don't know Funassyi yet, you really need to have a look at a few videos. X'D
Later on, even Misako Aoki joined the stage.

Misako looked beautiful as always <3

I enjoyed the Japan Expo and to be honest Im already starting to think about visiting the Japan Expo next year somehow again. It's really worth the money (~20€ for saturdays). After Japan Expo we went back to our hotel and made our way to the Lolita stores located in Paris - but I will write about this in a separate entry.
Now, last but not least: Thank you, Yoko! We really need to repeat a trip like this. <3

Geeky geek geekies ;D
