Good bye, Sugar Teddiursa

Hello my dear mauw-mauws,

my pet hamster Sugar Teddiursa passed away last sunday in the late evening. Im still a bit shocked because her death came that sudden. During the morning I even cleaned her cage and Sugar was energetic and as fresh as a daisy and really nothing signifies that she would leave us in the late evening.

Towards early evening Sugar woke up as usually and planned to do her round in her cage. As I saw Sugar I was worried because her fur was ruffled up and she looked pretty tired. She boxed some food in her hamster cheeks and then tottered back to her lil house again. Later that evening she woke up again and her condition went worser. She began to breathe hard but run around still. Later on, she didn't breathe hard anymore but had difficulties with holding her balance. What was going on that sudden? She really looked peaky and I felt helpless. I could now see that the end wouldn't be far off for Sugar... and within the next half an hour she passed away.

To be honest, I think I do not completely realized that Sugar is gone. Her death occures that suddenly. =(

Yesterday I put her whole stuff into our cellar. The cupboard, on which Sugar's cage used to be, looks so empty now eventhough I redecorated it. We also already layed Sugar to her final rest. I hope she will enjoy her new home, the "Pet Palace in Heaven" behind the rainbow bridge. I believe that this is an place where animals go when their passing away. All animals who had been ill and old are then there restored to health and vigor. I believe that all my pets see each other again, so Sugar may have already met up with Peachy and Nori =).

Sugar Teddiursa, I hope you enjoyed your life and eventhough you were a maverick I will miss you. =) I will always remember you. You were such a cutie and I loved your difficutie. And Don will also remember you because you bitten him several times ^__^6. Ha-ha~ <3

7th Aix-La-Chapelle Lolita Meet-Up

Hello my lovely mauw-mauws,

today the 7th Aix-La-Chapelle Lolita Meet-Up took place. This time we went to Kornelimünster, a part of town of Aachen, to have first a seat at a cafe and visiting then the Reichsabtei, a benedictine monastery and home of modern art.

Around 12pm we met up at Aachen main train station. Actually we wanted to take the train shortly after 12pm to "Aachen Rothe Erde" to take then there a bus straight to Kornelimünster and have a seat at a cafe and then having a tour through the Reichsabtei. Unfortunately the train had a delay of about almost 10 minutes (you have to know that we only had to drive for one station!) and we were late for the bus. Due to the fact that the bus only drives once per hour to Kornelimünster we decided to have a short detour into the Aachen Arkaden. There we met Deadromance who had actually to work that day so she couldnt join our meet up - but it was great meeting her anyways! =) We also visited the Claires and had a stay at a bakery and then it was already time to get the bus.

In Kornelimünster we had to wait for the Reichsabtei to be open. At saturdays the Reichsabtei got open hours from 3pm-6pm and by now it was only about 2:20pm. Because we missed the bus and arrived about an hour later in Kornelimünster than in first place planned, RainyYuki postponed our reservation for the cafe to the late afternoon. Well, now we had to bridge time a little bit and took only a few photos (it was pretty windy and cold ~~brr) and investigated the area nearby the Reichsabtei.

f. l. t. r.: Rainyyuki (front), Mero-chi, me, Kuraude, Phoenix, Lucie and PrincessTenko

Unlike the last Aix-La-Chapelle (6th Aix-La-Chapelle) we were this time a pretty small group of only seven. Rainyyuki took over the part as "Orga-Lolita" and she did a great job =D. It was also great to see Mero-Chi, Lucie and Phoenix again (I really hope I didn't bend your ears, Phoenix X'D).

Kuraude, PrincessTenko and I
But I'd most been glad to see PrincessTenko at this Meet-Up. She took the long way from her hometown to Aachen. Luckily she could travel by car. Thank you so much for joining this meet up. <33

On time at 3pm we went into the Reichsabtei. There we had a guided tour through the museum of modern art. We also took some photos there but we shouldn't upload them in the internet so I can't show you any of the photos here.  Shortly after 4pm we went to the nearby cafe. By now I was pretty hungry and thirsty. I ordered some delicious ice and we all chatted  for about an hour before we then finally split up.

While Kuraude and I waited for our chaffeuring service, as known as Don, we met by chance Buschwindroeschen. She didn't joined the meet-up but it was really great to have a short chat with her. =D

Eventhough we had a bit bad luck with public passenger transports and the weather wasn't that great I enjoyed the Meet-Up and looking forward to the next one. =)

Yukon Animanga Convention Spring Edition 2013

Hello my cute mauw-mauws,

today we went to the Yukon Animanga Convention in Solingen. Actually we wanted to have a picnic with friends of us but unfortunately they all canceled just one day before or at the morning of the day the Yukon take place.
Nevertheless we, or better Don, Kuraude, Mochi and I, visited the Yukon and to be honest I am quite disappointed. I knew that the Yukon would be a "smaller" Convention but the location and the offers of the Yukon just wasn't worth it's money (a day pass costed 10€). Well, Don and I entered the Yukon building (because we did the "mistake" to buy 2x day tickets X'D) and it was quite crowded and we could only hardly see the traderstalls but anyway there were no special merchandise for sale or so at all for me.

After leaving the building again we decided to go to the nearby botanic garden. The botanic garden there was pretty nice and after strolling though the garden we had a picnic there and enjoyed the weather. It is finally getting warmer here in germany! ^__^ The best things that day were probably that I could enjoy it with my besties, that I could were my Hello Kitty Red Classic Cosplay for the very first time at a convention and that we took some nice photos:

One of my favourite photos that day! <3
Around 3pm we left Solingen already and drove home again. Right now we are simply enjoying our presence and let the day slowly fade away. =)
The Yukon was actually nothing to speak off and I don't think that I will visit the Yukon in the near future again but it was great to enjoy the first sunrays this year with you three together. I really hope that Don, Mochi and Kuraude also enjoyed the day as much as I did.

Why do I wanted to Cosplay Hello Kitty?

Im a big Hello Kitty fan. I adore her cuteness and so it was just a matter of time when I would Cosplay "Hello Kitty". At the beginning, I did not really know in which way I should Cosplay "Hello Kitty", should I wear a Cosplay in Kigurumi-Style, a mascot-costume or in "Gijinka"-Style. Finally then I decided to make a Gijinka-Style Cosplay.

I am wearing my Hello Kitty Classic Cosplay during Karneval 2012 at my workplace

Any unforgetable experiences?
None so far. Except the fact that even my work-colleagues think that white hair suits me very well. X'D
